GRA Bicycle Donation Campaign

Group for Rural Activities conducts bicycle donation campaign every year.
Every year, unclaimed bicycles accumulate in hostels which are left
behind by passing out students or otherwise not claimed by anybody. Such
bicycles are eventually sold out as scrap by hostels. GRA has taken an
initiative to collect such bicycle from passing out students and hostels
and donate them to needy school going children in tribal villages. GRA
has donated around 100 by bicycles in last two years to school children
in tribal villages in Jawhar (Thane Dist.).
This year we have collected 39 bicycles. These bicycles are not in
running condition currently. Before we donate to children we have to
repair them so that children from remote tribal areas can effectively
use them. As per our estimation, we need around 30,000 for the cause. We
are planning to raise this amount by donation from faculties and
students. Anyone who want to contribute for this cause please fill the
farm below. One of our volunteer will collect the money from you.
